Honey, We're Home!

It's been so long that I'm not sure if I remember
how to blog,
but we're home now,
in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida!

R.H. bought the obligatory citrus tree, a lemon,
and I chose a houseplant that would have
looked weird in a TN valley farmhouse
but suits this Florida house.

I've put familiar things around.

And made a few appointments with new doctors.

We've taken time to enjoy the backyard view.

And the view from our front porch.

Now the sun is setting and we're tuckered out.

Honey, we're home!

Missed you all so much and hope to catch up with you soon!

  15. Welcome back! You've been missed. Your home looks fabulous, and frankly not what I expected to see in Florida. I suppose that area gets a little 'greener'?!

Now that I've gotten that out of the way, please excuse me while I get my muscle men to take care of Tammy. No way she's gettin' in on my spot ;).

  21. So glad to hear you're home now, Dewena. Florida.... that must be so different from where you lived before. Look at the view from your front porch, is that a pond? And your back yard looks green and groomed. Flamingos! Oh, those are Jess' favorite birds.

I hope you had a very nice Mother's Day, Dewena, and I bet it's good to be home.

    love, ~Sheri

  28. Thank you for the Birthday wishes, Dewena. I went to the Zoo today. Needed to see some silly animals. :) I saw real Flamingos there. They are the most unusual and graceful birds. They fascinate me always.

  29. I would say having citrus tree(s!) is THE reason to live there. I am such a citrus fan.
