...Such a cutie-pie on the sled in the last post!

When I was much younger I found the most delightful book, Arnie The Darling Starling. It was about a woman who adopted a baby starling and raised it. I fell in love with that wonderful bird, and learned how intelligent and charming starlings are! Everyone should read it! :-)A Colorful Worldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06890388727784255219noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025769640802524983.post-17219463456922039612015-02-21T14:09:50.914-08:002015-02-21T14:09:50.914-08:00I don't think we have them here. Finally one sunny day came along and it was warm (relatively speaking, by that I mean to the right of zero!) and there were so many birds about. They all were in a tizzy or so it seemed. It was nice just to hear so many songs! Yes, they do all have to eat!! Some fly away too quickly, but others just stay put and let me observe them. This blue jay is very unique looking - the blue jays around here have a blue feather coat, and I see them a lot. Oh, how the birds must look in your snow, Dewena.......such a sight, especially that red cardinal below. :~)

Have a lovely day.

~SheriRed Rose Alleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02685747099912989862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025769640802524983.post-2097112690434772322015-02-19T09:04:30.835-08:002015-02-19T09:04:30.835-08:00Gladys has a quote, for everything!!!!!Gladys has a quote, for everything!!!!!Tessa~ Here there be musinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13661988938395877761noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025769640802524983.post-91463810273534758772015-02-19T08:54:52.855-08:002015-02-19T08:54:52.855-08:00I don't know if we have starlings around here,...I don't know if we have starlings around here, Dewena, but from what I'm seeing in your readers' comments, I hope we don't!

xo
PoppyPoppyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08980323586402386609noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025769640802524983.post-36734081118061333422015-02-19T08:04:11.888-08:002015-02-19T08:04:11.888-08:00I tolerate the greedy bullies but heave a sigh of ...I tolerate the greedy bullies but heave a sigh of relief when they are gone.Nib's Endhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00820552995581749771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4025769640802524983.post-50885332658046414902015-02-19T05:07:10.781-08:002015-02-19T05:07:10.781-08:00Your post brought a laugh to me this morning.
