The real me is the woman in this window, manual typewriter in front of her but holding a pencil posed over paper. Deer nibble at shrubbery on snow-covered lawn, fodder both for her writing and for her life.
Or are they the same thing?

we're finally having a rainy day after 5 months without it. so you KNOW i'm loving it! and i'm about to picked up by the marine for a very early pizza. i'm a happy camper. and i love that beautiful view over your sink. you would always find me there happily washing dishes!! happy heart day to you and RH and the puppies! XOXO♥
Happy Valentines Day, Dewena. It looks as if you are settled in your new home. You have a lovely view to look at while washing dishes. It's been a cloudy day in Iowa, but the temperature is not bad.
It's been a grey day here, and now it's dripping rain. But we're cozy indoors by the fire and we're together, so I'm not complaining. Happy Valentine's Day to you!
It looks like there's two beautiful, delicate and dainty red hearts growing from your house plant, Dewena, that bloomed on Valentine's Day, to say 'Hello, lady of the house, we love you!'.:)
It's finally sunny and bright and warmer out today, yay!
I love the sunny and the gloomy, too. Just not TOO much gloomy in a row! Ha! Beautiful view out your window, Deweena! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day! blessings and hugs ~ tanna ps Yes, you would be like a kid in a candy store with all the yarn colors AND those bleacher seats are no fun. LOL! Oh, the things we do for love. ;)
Snowy here today in Bradford. I love your black curtains and how they make those red lids pop right out of the picture. I can tell that you are so happy being back in Tennessee that even a rainy day doesn't dampen your spirits.
It's actually been sunny here the past few days - which is verrry welcome and amazing after the continual cloudiness we'd had. Hope you had a lovely Valentine's Day!
Hope you had a happy Valentine's day, Dewena. Thank you for your lovely comments at my blog. I've been a bit under the weather this week and haven't been on the computer until today.
Thank you for your kind words, Dewena, and for the anniversary wishes. I've read your comment several times. I have no words to explain what I'm experiencing in this newly acquired nest of two, along with the daunting thought of knowing we'll move again this year or next, but it's good to know others understand. Breathing ... xoxo
Gloomy only because my Valentine is fast asleep on the other side of the globe. I'm having toast and tea for elevenses to cheer me up. It's working.
ReplyDeleteAlways a pleasure to stand in your kitchen and look out the window with you.
