The real me is the woman in this window, manual typewriter in front of her but holding a pencil posed over paper. Deer nibble at shrubbery on snow-covered lawn, fodder both for her writing and for her life.
Or are they the same thing?

An Explanation
A picture is worth a thousand words, isn't it?
Can anyone guess why I've been on a blogging break?
[To be continued..... meanwhile I'll try to start catching up on what has been happening in YOUR lives!]
Oh, dear friend, you've been reading MY mind! I'll be doing the very same thing in a couple of months... Bless you as you begin on this new journey. :-)
Well, if you're moving, I hope you're at least going somewhere! I remember packing things on my entire first floor for the woods to be refinished - moved twice and went nowhere! Rita C at Panoply
you can imagine how exciting I find this! and though the WORK is backbreaking and seemingly forever... I love fresh starts of all kinds! XOXOXO♥ take care dsm... and REST as much as you can! ♥
I have never enjoyed even the idea of moving. Endings are so poignant, packing so tedious and good-byes too difficult. On the other hand, arriving holds so many possibilities. I hope you have an arrival flamboyant with possibilities.
Oh boy! As someone who has moved 4 times in the last 5 years I do not envy you!!! No wonder you've been missing....well, know that we missed you! Remember to find a little time to rest and find peace....wherever you are, and wherever you're going.
That's a whole lotta work Dewena! Take care of your back and don't work too hard. A poignant and exciting time, looking backwards and forwards. Looking forward to hearing all about it! Blessings to you, Deborah
At first I thought you were moving. But then I saw all the boxes were from Loews so I figured it might be tile. I guess my first instinct was correct! Wow, wow, wow! Don't keep us in suspense! Where are you going???
(Don't be confused. It's househoneys. I changed my blog).
Well you look organized. My goodness we have just been remodeling...and I have no idea where my tweezers is for my eyebrows. Grins, good luck and hope it goes smoothly! Sandi
WOW you have been busy. I am going to miss your kitchen:) I can only imagine how much you are going to miss your current place yet anticipate happily nesting in the new one. Many conflicted emotions, no doubt.
Brings back memories of 2010 when we packed up our big house to move and retire to smaller ones (we've moved 3 times since then trying to find where we want to be)... Good luck on your new journey. Hard to leave your sons but good that you are going to be closer to your daughter. I have 4 sons and 3 have moved to the Pacific Northwest in different states. One remains near where I live. ...anyway - i'm excited just looking at your boxes - I'm feeling the urge to move again.. I need to be a gypsy.
Just checking in on you to see how its going? Hope its a smooth move for you and im so looking foward to hearing all about it and seeing pictures soon! I dont know if this is a local or long distance move for yall so i am hoping it all goes safely either way! Hope to see you back posting soon! Moving is hard work!
Oh my gosh, Dewena! Where, oh where, are you moving to??? Wait - I think I just figured it out by reading the other comments and your replies. Wishing you good luck :)
Dewena, You are on the moving adventure too! I am thinking of you and wishing you the very best. Looking forward to seeing where your new home will be.
Is that flooring?? Dewena...if it is you are busy or soon will be. At first glance I thought it was beer cases. LOL. Blessings to you , xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteSorry, Susie, not flooring and not beer cases!

ReplyDeleteAway from our three sons, Nan, which will be hard but close to our daughter and son-in-law. Our sons and their families will have to come visit often!
